A man was indicted last week in connection with an August 2006 murder, Chattanooga police said today.

Larry Wade, 31, of Nashville was indicted Oct. 22 on charges of felony murder and attempted especially aggravated robbery in connection with the death of Lesley “Spud” Washington Jr., who was shot to death during a home invasion robbery at 2911 4th Ave., said police spokeswoman Sgt. Jerri Weary in a news release.

Mr. Wade is currently in Jefferson County, Tenn., and will be extradited to Chattanooga to answer to the charges of the indictment, she said.
