* Descendants of John Davis Sr. and Nancy Roberts Davis will hold a family reunion Sunday, Sept. 20, at 1 p.m. at Free Hope Baptist Church, 4176 Highway 76 in Chatsworth, Ga. Everyone should bring a covered dish, old pictures, family records and genealogy information. Ice, paper products and cutlery will be provided.

* The Millican family reunion will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Citizens Center in Trenton, Ga., located on Highway 11 South. Doors open at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served at 1 p m. Bring a covered dish and family photos.

* Combustion Engineering's semi-annual retirement dinner will be Thursday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the East Ridge Community Center, 1517 Tombras Ave. behind East Ridge City Hall. Bring a covered dish for noon lunch and $2 to help pay building rental fee.

MILITARY

* The USS Haddo Base meeting will be Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Golden Corral, 350 Stuart Road, Cleveland, Tenn., at 12:30 p.m. All members, former submariners, or relatives of submariners are invited.

SCHOOL

* Central High School class of 1939 will hold its 70th anniversary reunion on Sept. 24 at noon at Wally's, Ringgold Road at I-75. For more information, contact Dixie Erwin at 622-1253.

* Central High class of 1984 is holding a 25-year reunion on Sept. 18-19. A barbecue will be held before Central's Friday night football game. After the game a party will be held at Fox Cay Restaurant at Island Cove Marina. A casual dinner-dance will be held Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. at Fox Cay.
