Rants

DOES CONGRESS think uninsureds will pay for insurance? A majority of them already get everything free, so they will expect insurance free as well!

IT'S AN ILL wind that is blowing across Chattanooga, and it's called annexation-taxation-discontentment!

HOW TO STOP Chattanooga annexing areas and doubling taxes? Simple: County voters vote to double Chattanooga taxes!

IT WAS FUN watching those TVA retirees and Medicare recipients bus to DC to protest government intrusion in their lives. Say what?

WHY DO CHURCHES send missionaries to foreign countries when there are so many poor, sick and suffering in Tennessee?

IF THERE IS a recession going on, how can politicians raise the staggering amounts of money they say they raise?

WHY DO WE need czars who do not have to be appointed by Congress and are accountable to no one except the president?

PRESIDENT OBAMA should stop whining about the mess he inherited and pay more attention to the potential mess he will leave his successor.

THINK HOW efficient and economical Medicare and Medicaid would be if the government ran them. Oh, wait! It does! So what's the problem?

WONDER WHO'S behind the GOP's anti-health care stance? Gee, do ya think it could be the giant insurance and pharmaceutical lobbies?
