Television station WITN in Greenville, N.C., reported on its Web site Sunday afternoon that University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball coach Wes Moore is expected to be introduced as East Carolina's coach in the next day or two.
According to the report, which cited sources close to the situation, "the deal is not yet finalized but Moore is expected to be the next women's basketball coach at ECU."
After not responding to several requests for comment Saturday night and early Sunday, Moore said in a text message Sunday afternoon that he has not and will not "discuss speculations about other jobs. It's not fair to our kids (players) or UTC athletics."

I dislike this strongly. We will never get a coach like Wes Moore ever. He is a winner. We will need to get a coach that's also a winner. A coach that knows how to win. I'm really disappointed. I wish the best for Coach Moore, but I wish the best was here at UTC.
Good coaches have to be PAID the right salary.
