The Ooltewah Owls kickoff the high school football season at home Friday night at 7:30 p.m. against the Tyner Rams. It's head coach Shannon Williams' first team. The game will also be broadcast on 105.1 ESPN Radio, "The Zone." Nick Bonsanto will be doing the play by play. Bring your radio to the game and catch all the action.

A special thanks to Dean Moorehouse. He is the president of the OHS Football Booster Club this year and has done a great job raising money and getting the field at James H. Monroe Stadium ready. You're a community gem, and we appreciate you.
