Man who owned Christian camp found guilty of sexual battery

A man who owned a Christian camp in Dayton, Tenn., has been found guilty of felony sexual battery for his actions with an adult female employee, officials with the Rhea County Sheriff's Office said.

Mike Crain, the former owner of Fort Bluff Camp, will be sentenced the first week of November and faces up to two years in prison and a $1,500 fine, officials said.

After sentencing, Crain will face another charge of sexual battery with another female adult employee, officials said.

Thousands of children went to Fort Bluff Camp each year for Christian-based sports and camping. After Crain was indicted more than a year ago, Bryan College took over running the camp, officials said.
