The descendants of Nancy and John Davis Sr. will hold a family reunion on Sunday, Sept. 19, at 1 p.m. in Free Hope Baptist Church fellowship hall, 4176 Highway 76 in Chatsworth, Ga. Bring a covered dish, old pictures, family records, genealogy information and any memorabilia. Ice, paper products and cutlery will be provided.

The McCormick-Maddox-Copeland-Finley family reunion is Saturday, Sept. 11, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., in Shelter 1 at Cumberland Mountain State Park in Crossville, Tenn. The 1950 class of Chattanooga High School is holding its 60-year reunion on Sept. 15-16. COMMUNITY

The East Chattanooga Old Timers will hold their 21st reunion on Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. in the Chester Frost Park pavilion. All participants should bring a covered dish for shared lunch.

Combustion Engineering’s semi-annual retirement dinner will be Thursday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the East Ridge Community Center, 1517 Tombras Ave. Bring a covered dish for shared noon lunch and $2 donation for building rental fee.

The congregation of St. Stephen Catholic Church is preparing for its 50th anniversary celebration on Nov. 20-21. Events will include a celebration of Mass with Bishop Richard F. Stika, banquet, commemorative program, and a founding members’ brunch. Early parish families are encouraged to submit pictures, stories and planning ideas.
