The Walker County Health Department is holding a series of eight-hour basic diabetes management classes, taught by registered nurse Linda Long. You may call 706-638-5577 to sign up for the free classes.
The classes will be held on the following dates, and at the following locations:
* Jan. 19, 21, 26 and 28 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Walker County Health Department, 603 East Villanow St., in LaFayette.
* Feb. 13 and 20 from 1-5 p.m. at the Chickamauga Public Library, 306 Cove Road.
* March 16, 18, 23 and 25 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Walker County Teen Center, 109 Bryan St., in Rossville.
* April 23 and 30 from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Walker County Ag Center, 10052 U.S. Highway 27, in Rock Spring.
