Most-wanted Chattanooga man captured on murder charge

Today the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, along with the U.S. Marshals Service, captured one of TBI’s Top Ten most-wanted fugitives in Nashville after tips on his whereabouts came into law enforcement from Chattanooga.

George Walter Glenn, 35, whose last known address was 1208 Wheeler Ave. in Chattanooga, was found by authorities hiding under a house on Lischey Avenue, police said.

Mr. Glenn was wanted by the Chattanooga Police Department on one count of criminal homicide. On December 20, 2009, Mr. Glenn was involved in an altercation with a 17-year-old male who was stabbed and killed, according to police.

Mr. Glenn was placed on the most-wanted list on Jan. 11. He is being held at the Nashville-Davidson Metro Jail.
