Readying for more growth in the Chattanooga area, Keller Williams Realty plans to shift its central city office to the North Shore.
"I believe this city is about to experience a growth pattern unlike it has ever experienced or seen," said Robert Moss, overseer of the downtown office.
Citing growth driven by the Volkswagen auto assembly plant, Mr. Moss expects the real estate market to do well over the next five years.
The new office space in the ground floor of the One North Shore condominium and commercial complex will equal about 7,000 square feet, said George Bright of Chattanooga developer Fletcher Bright Co.
He said the Manufacturers Road space is about a third of the total commercial room in the structure.
"We're excited about the exposure," said Mr. Moss, who leads the office with operating principal Jeff Harrell.
Mr. Moss said plans are to shift from Georgia Avenue in June. The Keller Williams office has an 80-person office that is expected to grow to 100 people by the move, he said.
"We are busting at the seams," Mr. Moss said.
He said a new commercial division will open at the site, and it will hold state-of-the-art conference and training facilities. About 300 parking spaces next door to the office and Renaissance Park are being made available to the company, Mr. Moss said.
