"The Color of Blood," the award-winning third video in BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee's African-American Contributions Series, begins airing this weekend on WTVC News Channel 9 and on WTCI, the local Public Broadcasting Station.

News Channel 9 (Comcast channel 10) will air the video on Sunday and on Feb. 20 at 2:30 p.m.

WTCI will show it today at 5:30 p.m., Feb. 21 at 1:30 p.m. and Feb. 28 at 6:30 p.m. for PBS's digital viewers.

"The Color of Blood" tells the story of blacks' fight for equal rights in the United States military. The 26-minute documentary features historians, professors and veterans speaking from experience.
