about Clay Bennett...

The son of a career army officer, Bennett led a nomadic life, attending ten different schools before graduating in 1980 from the University of North Alabama with degrees in Art and History. After brief stints as a staff artist at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Fayetteville (NC) Times, he went on to serve as the editorial cartoonist for the St. Petersburg Times (1981-1994) and The Christian Science Monitor (1997-2007), before joining the staff of the ...

Well, at first glance our 'little dude' above would appear to be ready for anything that might come his way.

Me thinks, he is a recent transfer or just crawled out from under a rock, because he hasn't been paying much attention to D.C. politics.

I think I'll dub him "Rip." Now, just do yourself a favor and go back to sleep.

Looking forward to a brighter future, Woody

Good, and to me, a non-partisan cartoon!

How about him emerging from a cave carrying fire in a can... along with that life-preserver.

Yeah! They didn't increase my SS cost of living, but prices seem to have gone up 25% on the dollar. An easy index is Dollar General. Ouch!

He might need a shovel to perhaps dig himself out of the red! He might need to spade up a garden, too.

I think a lot of us are physically and mentally, not prepared to cope if it turns bad.

You did great, Clay, even without the suggested additions.

That was fun!

Strong links to the Texas GOP with the men arrested in the Landrieu wiretap attempt.

O'Keefe (who may face jail time) was given a Congressional resolution to honor him for his expose on ACORN which was authored by Representative Pete Olson (R-TX)

Olson was Chief of Staff for Senator John Cornyn (R-TX). Texax

Representative Pete Sessions (R-TX) helped Olson get elected for the first time. In 2008. Dick Cheney did fundraising for Olson.

Robert Flanagan, who may be facing 10 years and 250,000 fine, was an intern for Representative Mary Fallin (R-OK) and is the son of acting U.S. Attorney William Flanagan in Louisiana (which is not an appointed office).
Wm Flanagan's boss, Donald W Washington was appointed as U.S. Attorney in 2001 by George W. Bush - replacing William J Flanagan (same guy) who is listed on the justice.gov site as the U.S. Attorney from 2000 - 2001 and 2010 to present. A little confusing, but there you go.

Mary Fallin (R-OK) is on the Executive Committee of the National Republican Congessional Committee. The Chairman of the NRCC is Pete Sessions (R-TX) -- (the guy who sponsored Olson).

Pete Sessions is the son of FBI director William Sessions and was a former employee of Southwestern Bell and Bell Communications Research and is a member of the cybersecurity task force.

Both Fallin and Olson are members of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.

All four the the men arrested were part of college Republican organizations.

So you proved Republicans like what O'Keefe and friends did to ACORN, which the MSM should have done a long time ago. Expose their corruption and rip off of the taxpayers for billions. And your point?

Gee miraweb, you need to use your fine powers of linking everyone together, to now expose the entire DNC and all of their Left/Progressive cronies that are continuing to corrupt Washington, the White House and the country. Go to it!

I have no problem with Republicans liking O'Keefe. The problem I have is them liking him so much that they might consider hiring him to do some illegal wiretapping.

Friends don't let friends wiretap.

And your 'inside proof' that they were "hired"? To me, it sounds like a really stupid, ill-thought out plan of four twenty-something guys, who watched too many Ocean 11 re-runs and let their hormones do the talking.

As for partisans-for-hire, my point still stands. Check out your own crowd once in awhile. It may be enlightening for you.
