EAST BRAINERD: National Night Out coming back around

It is that time of year again - National Night Out is just around the corner, so you need to start working on your plans if your group is going participate. This year, National Night Out falls on Aug. 3. If your neighborhood would like to participate, provide the name of the Neighborhood Association or watch group, where the event will be held, the beginning and ending times and activities planned no later than July 14 to Officer Wayne Jefferson at 423-643-5090 or by e-mail to jefferson_wa@chattanooga.gov. If you need additional information on the event, visit www.nationaltownwatch.org. The list of participating groups will be distributed to the media and submitted to city officials prior to the event in order for them to schedule the events of the evening into their plans. Let's make this event the largest ever in East Brainerd.
