EAST BRAINERD: Food Bank hosts 'Battle of the Neighborhoods'

It will seem like Christmas in July this month because Wendy Baubach is helping again to stock the shelves of the Chattanooga Food Bank. The Food Bank is very low on non-perishable foods and Mrs. Baubach is challenging all neighborhoods in our East Brainerd area to donate as much food as possible in what she calls the "Battle of the Neighborhoods." She has placed barrels at the pools in all of the neighborhoods participating so far and will be happy to place one in yours by contacting her at wendy_baubach@yahoo.com. You have until the end of July to make your donations in the barrels provided, so don't delay. Let us show Chattanooga how East Brainerd can make a difference in our community.
