* The Jehovah's Witnesses will hold a "Remain Close to Jehovah!" district convention at the Civic Forum in Rome, Ga., for three three-day weekends beginning Friday at 9:20 a.m. Residents of Northwest Alabama, Northwest Georgia and the Chattanooga area are invited to attend.
