Wow, Soddy-Daisy citizens continue to give our city national attention.
Coach Clifford Kirk and his talented softball team at Soddy-Daisy High School won the state title and ranked seventh in ESPN's Fab 50 poll. Congratulations for being the best - again.
Also congratulations to Allen Elementary School PTA for bringing home the award for serving the most volunteer hours of all county schools, more than 8,000.
Soddy-Daisy Middle School is hosting a football camp Monday through Thursday, June 10, for boys in grades third through eighth. Sessions will be from 9 a.m. to noon daily.
Vacation Bible School is scheduled from Sunday through Friday, June 11 at First Baptist Church from 5:30-8:30 p.m. each night. Pre-register at www.groupvbspro/ez/fbcsdvbs or just show up for the High Seas Expedition.
