CHICKAMAUGA: Library brings in special programs

The Chickamauga Public Library will have several activities during June. On June 10 at 10 a.m., a program by renowned storyteller and author Donna Washington is scheduled. On June 15 from 3:30-5:30 p.m., a program by professional cartoonist and illustrator James Lyle is on tap. On June 17 at 10 a.m., an educational program on water conservation by the Walker County Water Authority is set. On June 19 at 11 a.m. is the Father and Child Watermelon Carving contest and on June 22 from 6-8 p.m. is the Teen Summer Solstice Party.
