NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Vice President Joe Biden will be keynote speaker at the Jackson Day Celebration Friday, July 16, in Nashville.
His appearance was announced in March but the date was just announced Wednesday.
Jackson Day is an annual dinner held by the Tennessee Democratic Party honoring President Andrew Jackson, who was from Nashville and is considered the founder of the modern Democratic Party.
State party chairman Chip Forrester said in a statement Wednesday that Biden will help launch critical midterm elections.
