Chickamauga City School student David McDaniel and Gordon Lee High School student Taylor Shook produced the illustrations for the book "My House is A Greenhouse" by local author Joan Jones. A copy of the book is in the Chickamauga Public Library.

The Gordon Lee Middle School Boys baseball team was undefeated this season and won the North Georgia Athletic Conference championship.

The Gordon Lee High School Ladies Golf Team won its fifth straight Region 6-A title and placed fifth in the Georgia State Tournament. Rachel Mason finished second individually in the state tournament.
