CHICKAMAUGA: Public library offers July activities

The Chickamauga Public Library will have several activities during July. On July 1, Walker County Emergency Services Summer Safety Program brings vehicles for kids to tour. On July 9 at 10 a.m., the Tennessee Aquarium brings its “Swamp Things” program. On July 15 at 10 a.m., Tommy Johns presents “Dive Right In,” exploring reading through puppets, magic and more. From 5:30-6:30 p.m. on July 20 is the Final Summer Reading Program with inflatables, ice cream and prizes. On July 30 is a Teen Block Party with local teen bands.
