Hunter Long, a 6-foot-3, 293-pound center from Briarcrest Christian in the Memphis suburb of Eads, has committed to play football at the University of Georgia.
Long is Georgia's 13th commitment for the 2011 signing class and the second from out of state, joining touted quarterback Christian LeMay from Matthews, N.C. The younger brother of Georgia redshirt freshman offensive tackle Austin Long also had early scholarship offers from Memphis, Middle Tennessee State and Southern Miss.
Austin Long was rated by Rivals.com as the No. 12 tackle and the No. 130 prospect overall in the 2009 signing class.
