BRAINERD: Deadline today for World Changers Repair

The Department of Neighborhood Services would like to remind you that today at 4 p.m. is the deadline to turn in your application for the World Changers Home Repair Program. To qualify, you must a homeowner and live in the Chattanooga city limits, be at least 62 years of age or be a disabled homeowner of any age. Social Security documentation of disabled status must be provided. For more information, contact Vanessa Jackson at 423-425-3741.

Eastside Weed and Seed Day of Service will be held on April 24. Contact the office at 423-752-4449 to volunteer or make donations for materials.

The Chattanooga District Senior Olympics for ages 50-plus will be held May 3-8. Register by calling 423-755-6114. The event is sponsored by Chattanooga Parks & Recreation Department, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and Alexian Brothers.
