    Staff Photo by John Rawlston/Chattanooga Times Free Press - Fried catfish is served with crispy fried squash with ranch sauce, green beans, toast and sweet tea at Hillbilly Willy's restaurant in Tiftonia.

* Where: Hillbilly Willy's Bar-B-Q, 115 Brown's Ferry Road.

* What: The catfish platter, served every Wednesday, is a hands-down favorite if you're looking for something beyond barbecue. The fish if fresh and hand-battered, then fried to order. You get two strips of catfish per platter, along with a choice of two sides. Owner George Foster said the crispy squash, also hand-breaded and fried to order, is a favorite side dish. "People are loving the catfish," he said. "But also the squash. It's really taken off. Some people come in just to get the squash." If you miss out on catfish Wednesday, you might try meatloaf Thursdays or authentic Italian on Fridays.

* Price: $8.25 (catfish and two sides).

* Phone: 821-2272.

* Hours: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
