Chattanooga police responded to a person shot Saturday night at 9:15 at 1941 Heaton St. It was the second shooting of the day.
On Heaton Street, the victim, a 16-year-old male, was shot in the lower left leg, police spokeswoman Rebecca Royval said.
Witnesses told police three to five black males wearing all black and black masks, got out of the bed of a white pickup truck and began shooting in multiple directions. The suspects then returned to the truck and left the scene.
The victim was transported to Erlanger, where he was treated and released, Officer Royval said. This shooting is still under investigation, she said.
An earlier shooting occurred at about 4:30 p.m. when a juvenile was shot in the neck while sitting in his SUV.
His injuries did not appear to be life threatening and police have no suspects yet, Officer Royval said.
Officers responded to 5006 North Moore Lane about a call that someone had been shot, Officer Royval said. The incident actually occurred at 4600 Rogers Road, she said, where the male juvenile had been seated in his SUV at the time of the shooting.
The case is being investigated by Chattanooga Police Department major crimes investigators, she said.

Unfortunately if everyone were allowed to carry guns, it wouldn't do anything but make the problem worse. I just see it now, barn fight at the O.K. corral.
