JERUSALEM — Israel’s premier has ordered an investigation into how government officials announced plans for a new Jewish housing project in East Jerusalem during a visit by Vice President Joe Biden.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said he ordered the probe late Saturday after he met with top Cabinet ministers.
While Biden was visiting earlier this week, Israel’s Interior Ministry said it approved plans to build 1,600 homes for Jews in disputed east Jerusalem. Biden condemned the announcement, which overshadowed his visit.
Netanyahu has apologized for the poor timing of the announcement, but given no sign he will cancel the construction orders.
The Palestinians claim east Jerusalem as their capital, and Israel’s annexation of the area is not internationally recognized.
Jerusalem has belonged to the Hebrew nation for thousands of years and Islam has no claim on it, especially because of its nefarious statements that call for the killing of all Jews and the takeover of Israel. This with a plethora and majority of Arab lands to share with the Palestinians and Mecca to call their own. Israel has nothing to apologize for.
Biden and his stupid, big mouth, ruuning off about things he knows nothing of, should apologize. Better yet, he should never be allowed to step on Israeli land again. The Agenda of this Administration in regards to Israel has been apparent from the beginning. When our President stoops and bows to Arab Dictators and Terrorist supporters, the Agenda is crystal clear.
Israeli opinions and reports about Biden's insults and ignorant comments (not all reported by the US media of course) show the Obama administration is not only full of Fools but ignorant Fools. Ignorant of foreign policy and ignorant of who our real enemies are and how to deal with them. What's new? This was predicted a long time ago. November 2008 to be precise.
