Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport passenger boardings plunged over 16 percent in February, in large part due to the airlines canceling flights amid the month’s bad weather, officials said today.
The carriers scratched 40 flights at the airport in the month, said Mike Landguth, the airport’s president.
He said there were two “snow events” in the month.
According to the airport, Allegiant Air’s boardings fell 49 percent in the month.
Also, American Eagle traffic dropped 21 percent, figures show.
