Q: What is driving today's surge of interest in couponing?

A: People are learning to effectively combine store sales with coupons. By using two discounting methods together, consumers can save tons of money and get the items they want for pennies on the dollar. The heightened interest is a reflection of the state of the economy. When household budgets are stretched thin, shoppers start looking for creative ways to save money. While most people do not wake up one morning excited about cutting coupons, at the end of the day, if they can invest a little time and have a big payoff, then a goal is met.
