Volkswagen has set up a unit based in Germany aimed at developing and selling sporty, individualized vehicles.
Volkswagen R GmbH includes the Scirocco R and the Golf R as well as dynamic R Line design packages and luxurious Volkswagen exclusive vehicles, according to the car company.
The unit has its headquarters in Warmenau near Wolfsburg, which is Volkswagen AG’s world headquarters.
