Eagle Forum endorses Robin Smith in Tennessee's Third Congressional District

Press Release

Washington, D.C. - Eagle Forum PAC, a conservative public policy organization founded by Phyllis Schlafly is proud to endorse Robin Smith in the race to represent Tennessee's Third Congressional District.

"Robin is exactly the kind of leader we need in Washington," said Schlafly. "She is a fierce defender of life with a proven record as an effective socially and fiscally conservative leader."

"Under Robin's leadership as state Party Chair, Tennessee not only won a Republican majority in the state legislature for the first time since 1868, but elected truly conservative Republicans in 2008, a year in which Republicans lost significant ground in almost every other state," Schlafly noted.

"Her unique background and experiences as a mother, a critical care nurse, a small business owner and a state party leader equip her well to represent constituents from all walks of life throughout the third district," said Schlafly. "Robin has fought for the best aspects of the Republican Party platform, a commitment to life, individual liberty and creating jobs and maximizing economic growth by keeping taxes low and government small."

"We look forward to working with leaders like Robin in the next Congress." Schlafly added, "And, it will take people like her, who don't just bring sound bites, but well-researched, proven conservative solutions to stop the slide toward socialism and protect all that make America great."

Eagle Forum PAC supports candidates who are committed to a conservative philosophy of limited government, national sovereignty and traditional values.
