Dog who attacked police cars gets six-months of classes

A Chattanooga judge ruled this morning that Winston, a dog that attacked four cars - including two police vehicles - can have the charges against its owner dismissed after six months if it completes six months of obedience classes and remains in a confined space.

Winston attacked the cars on March 14.

The owner of the dog, Nancy Emerling, was given a citation for Winston being a "potentially dangerous dog."
