CHICKAMAUGA: Winners announced in District 4-H contest

The Chickamauga City School Board recently honored the following Chickamauga students who were winners at the District 4-H competition.

Chickamauga Elementary School: Kaylan Beaty, first place Poultry & Egg Science, fifth grade; Sidney Pierce, second place Safety, fifth grade; Mary Kate Pritchett, first place General Science, fifth grade; Evan Clayton, first place Outdoor Recreation, fifth grade; Dalton Green, first place History, fifth grade; Grace Sims, second place Crafts, fifth grade; and Grant Blaylock, second place Rabbits, fifth grade.

Gordon Lee Middle School: Julianna Putnam, first place Entomology, sixth grade.
