A Whiteside, Tenn., man has died from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash near Jasper, Tenn., Thursday morning.

Joseph Adam Hughes, 20, died Friday at Erlanger hospital. He was driving north on U.S. Highway 41 about 7:45 a.m. CDT Thursday when he apparently lost control in a curve, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Butch Reeves.

The 1999 Ford Explorer left the road and rolled repeatedly.

Mr. Hughes and his brother, Andrew Russell Hughes, 16, were thrown from the vehicle, Trooper Reeves reported. Neither was wearing a seat belt, he said.

The brothers were taken to Grandview Medical Center in Jasper and then by LifeForce to Erlanger hospital.
