Baybears sweep Lookouts in doubleheader

Mobile starting pitcher Bryan Henry allowed just three hits in five innings as the BayBears capped a doubleheader sweep with a 6-0 victory after winning the first game 4-2.

Lookouts starter Timothy Sexton struggled in the second inning, allowing a bases-loaded walk to Bryan Byrne and a sacrifice to center by Taylor Harbin. Byrne had a two-run single in the fifth.

In the opener, Chattanooga pulled into a 2-2 tie in the fifth inning courtesy of three wild pitches by Mobile starter Barry Enright, the first of which scored Trayvon Robinson and the third scored Scott Van Slyke. The BayBears went up 4-2 in their half of the fifth when Lookouts starter Mario Alvarez allowed a walk, a wild pitch, a triple and a single.

Game one of a five-game series against Carolina at AT&T Field is tonight at 7:15.

Jesus Castillo (2-3, 2.06) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Alexander Smit (0-2, 9.38) scheduled for the Mudcats.
