An inmate in the Hamilton County Jail has been charged with filing a false report of rape.
Charles Douglas Mundy filed the complaint on Nov. 15, alleging that he had been raped in the jail, said Janice Atkinson, spokeswoman for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. An investigation determined that Mundy made up the complaint, she said.
Mundy apparently was not happy with his cell assignment and wanted to be moved to another, she said.
