DeKalb County, Ala., sheriff’s deputies arrested two men in separate drug busts on Wednesday.
The DeKalb County Drug Task Force chased a white sports utility vehicle with a stolen tag through downtown Fort Payne to Brandon Eugene Graham’s home Wednesday afternoon, Sheriff Jimmy Harris said in a news release.
Investigators found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and found marijuana plants growing in the back yard.
Graham, 25, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, attempting to elude police and receiving stolen property.
He remains in the DeKalb County Detention Center without bond, Harris said.
Later, deputies responded to complaints of drug activity on County Road 130. They searched the house and found more than 20 grams of blue ice methamphetamine, more than 3 pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Johnny James Thompson, 48, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and trafficking in marijuana. Deputies seized a vehicle and four weapons, Harris said.
Thompson is being held without bond, he said.
