The process for admission into two popular Hamilton County magnet schools will remain virtually the same as it always has been, despite talk of changing the traditional first-come, first-served enrollment.
Parents of 94 kindergarteners already have put their names on a list and are considered first in line for 100 kindergarten spots at Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences and Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, officials said.
Applications for the two schools will be made available Tuesday, and administrators will accept completed forms from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Sept. 18 at CSAS.
