Hamilton County schools are just shy of 42,000 students, according to 20th-day enrollment numbers released today.
Elementary schools have added 420 students over this time last year, and middle and high schools have added 14 and 144 students, respectively.
The school system now has enrolled 41,950 students, about 350 more than the 10th day of school this year.
