A Marion County wildlife officer was injured in an ATV accident Thursday afternoon, officials said

Mike Bailey is at Erlanger hospital with a broken leg, but is expected to make a speedy recovery, said Dan Hicks, spokesman for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.

Bailey was investigating a site where hunters were suspected of leaving bait for animals when the accident occurred.

Details about the collision have not been released.
