London Crutcher is wanted by police in connection with a robbery at 1994 Appling St.

A Chattanooga teenager was arrested and another man is wanted in connection with a residential robbery at 1994 Appling Street on Thursday.

Britain Crutcher, 19, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, three counts of aggravated kidnapping, three counts of aggravated assault and theft over $1,000, police said.

Crutcher's arrest came after police located Buffie Johnson's stolen Ford Escape on Autumn trail and police were told the truck had been previously parked where Crutcher lived, said Chattanooga Police spokeswoman Sgt. Jerri Weary.

When police arrived at the house on Paw Trail, Crutcher ran from a shed into the house, Weary said. Police searched the shed and found Johnson's stolen computer tower. Warrants were taken for Crutcher's arrest, she said.

London Crutcher, brother of Britain Crutcher, is believed by investigators to be connected to the robbery. London Crutcher has several warrants including warrants for aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping, police said.

On Thursday, police reported that three suspects rushed into Johnson's home and demanded money. Johnson and her daughter were forced into a bathroom and forced to undress, police said.

During the robbery, Johnson was shocked with a stun gun and her boyfriend was hit in the eye with a pistol, Weary said.
