ELON, N.C.-University of Tennessee at Chattanooga shortstop Jessica Traxler gave the Lady Mocs softball team all the offense it would need to complete a Southern Conference series sweep on Sunday afternoon.

Traxler, a junior from Chino Hills, Calif., hit a three-run home run in the top of the second inning to lift UTC (25-8, 8-0 SoCon) to a 3-1 win and remain undefeated in league play.

UTC did all its damage with two outs in the second, as right fielder Della Harrison singled and designated player Vivian Morimoto walked to set the stage for Traxler's blast.

Second baseman Sara Poteat was 2-for-4 for UTC, which was outhit 6-4 by the Phoenix (15-14, 2-7).

Junior pitcher Michelle Fuzzard started the game and pitched four innings to earn the win, allowing three hits and one run on a solo home run by Elon right fielder Emerald Graham.

Senior pitcher Nikki Waters pitched the final three innings to earn her first career save.
