How to find out if your ancestors fought in the Civil War

The Tennessee State Library and Archives will host a workshop on “Civil War Ancestors: Old Records & New Tricks,” explaining how to trace genealogies and giving specific tips on researching with Civil War materials, on Saturday, April 16. In addition to the instruction, attendees will have access to TSLA databases and genealogy tools. The workshop will be held 9-11:30 a.m. CDT in the auditorium of the TSLA building, 403 Seventh Avenue North in downtown Nashville, next to the State Capitol.
