A joint committee including Hamilton County commissioners and school board members will meet over the next few months to discuss school funding issues, Commission Chairman Larry Henry said today.
Commissioner Warren Mackey and school board Member David Testerman will serve on the committee, which is expected to report by June 15.
County Finance Administrator Louis Wright and County Auditor Bill McGriff will serve on the committee, as will Christie Jordan, budget and accounting director at the school system will also serve, Henry said.
