The body of a white male has been pulled from Dalton Creek near South Hamilton Street, officials say.

There don't seem to be any signs of foul play, said Dalton police spokesman Bruce Frazier, but the body has been sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for examination.

The Dalton Fire Department was called in to help recover the body because it was in deep water, Frazier said.
