After one year on the job, Curt Jones has tendered his resignation as football coach at Meigs County High School.
“I turned in my resignation this morning,” Jones said. “Nobody is walking away angry. Things just weren’t aligned in the right way.”
Meigs principal Clint Baker confirmed the resignation.
“I got the letter this morning,” he said. “After talking with me about some issues we both felt we needed to move on.”
