Woman dies in Dade County house fire

A woman in Rising Fawn, Ga., died this morning in a house fire, according to the Dade County Sheriff’s Office.

Sue McMahan perished in a blaze at her home on Cloverdale Road, authorities said, while her husband, Charles McMahan, suffered first-degree burns.

Deputies are currently investigating the cause of the blaze.
