Reusable wrapping paper

Earth Day weekend is a great time to re-evaluate how you can help make the world a bit cleaner. One way is to avoid buying (and then immediately trashing) wrapping paper or gift bags this Easter by using a reusable cloth wrap. Lush has several beautiful knot-wrap scarves, inspired by the Japanese art of wrapping, or "furoshiki," which means "bath spread." Since the 1600s, furoshiki were used in public bathhouses to wrap and carry bathing articles. Each knot wrap is made from recycled plastic bottles. They come in several colors and styles. They run between $6 and $7 each. Find many designs at www.lushusa.com
