State of emergency declared in Catoosa County after tornado touches down in Ringgold

A state of emergency has been declared in Catoosa County, according to emergency officials. A tornado touched down in Ringgold around 8:45 p.m., according to WRCB meteorologists.

Dispatchers said they were working to help people trapped in residences and commercial buildings throughout Ringgold.
