Baybears beat Lookouts, 3-2

MOBILE, Ala. -- Adam Eaton's two-out single to center in the seventh inning scored Ed Easley to give Mobile the deciding run in a 3-2 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts as the Southern League's first-place teams opened a five-game series.

The Lookouts took a 2-1 lead in the top of the seventh when Wilberto Ortiz's one-out single to center was followed by Ivan Ochoa's triple to center, but the BayBears tied it on an Easley double to right that scored Marc Crauss.

Ochoa had two triples for the Lookouts (21-15), with his first one coming in the third inning.

Game two of a five-game series in Mobile is tonight at 8:05 EDT.

Chris Withrow (3-5, 4.42) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Bryan Henry (5-2, 3.38) scheduled for the BayBears.
