“A lot of people make rules about fashion. I’m not one of those people. It’s supposed to be about fun, not about anxiety and frustration. Fashion is an extension of yourself. You pass by many people every day — people you don’t know. Fashion is a way to communicate who you are without saying a word. I do think trends are important. I think there’s something to be said about investing money in classic pieces that you will wear for a long time. When it comes to super-trendy pieces, I won’t spend much money, but I will be able to blend the two.”
