Lookouts defeat Baybears 10-7

Friday, January 1, 1904

After pitching the first complete game of his career last Thursday at AT&T Field, Chattanooga's Allen Webster appeared on track for another in Mobile by allowing two hits through five innings in the Lookouts' 10-7 win at Mobile, but he then allowed two singles and a three-run home run to Marc Krauss in the sixth.

Webster, who worked six innings and struck out nine, benefited last Thursday from the Lookouts racking up a six-run second inning against Jackson, and they got a five-run first against the BayBears.

Chattanooga scored all five of its first-inning runs with two out, as Brian Cavazos-Galvez had an RBI single to right, Travis Denker a two-run double to right and Elian Herrera a two-run home run to left.

Game five of a five-game series in Mobile is tonight at 8:05.

Will Savage (11-3, 3.51) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Jarrod Parker (9-6, 3.92) scheduled for the BayBears.
